South Korean beauty company APR posted record third-quarter revenue of 773.1 billion won ($579.8 million), doubling from a year earlier as booming demand in North America and Europe fueled its global expansion.

Operating profit jumped 68.9 percent on-year to 160.6 billion won, according to preliminary earnings released Friday.

For the first nine months of 2026, revenue reached 2.13 trillion won and operating profit totaled 503.5 billion won, already surpassing the company's full-year 2025 results.

Overseas sales surged 135 percent to 722.9 billion won in the third quarter, accounting for 94 percent of total revenue.

North America generated 46 percent of quarterly revenue and Europe 23 percent. Together, the two regions accounted for 69 percent of sales, up sharply from 47 percent a year earlier.

APR attributed the growth to strong international demand and wider distribution across online and offline channels, despite a stronger won and fewer major promotional events.

In the US, APR has expanded its retail footprint through Target, Walmart and Costco, alongside Amazon and TikTok Shop. The company also plans to enter about 3,000 CVS Pharmacy stores by year-end.

Its flagship beauty brand Medicube surpassed 2 trillion won in cumulative sales through the third quarter, the company said.

Looking ahead to the Black Friday and Christmas shopping season, APR plans to expand distribution in North America, Europe and other key markets while rolling out locally tailored products and promotions.

"Despite fewer major promotional events across global retail channels and the stronger won, we achieved record quarterly revenue and sustained our overseas growth," an APR official said. "We expect sales to increase further in key markets during the peak shopping season in the fourth quarter."
